Chants of Manny! Manny! ring out from the MGM Grand Arena after Keshia Cole finishes singing the United States National Anthem. The rules for the Dream Fight that will start any moment now: No three knockdowno rule, no standing eight count, no fighter cannot be saved by bell and only the referee can stop the fight.

The pre-fight ceremonies continue. Karylle just finished singing the Philippine National Anthem, as Manny Pacquiao is seen warming up with the mitts together with trainer Freddie Roach. Oscar De La Hoya also looks set for the Dream Match.

Ortiz knocks out Resto

Victor "Vicious" Ortiz scored an impressive second-round knockout over Jeffrey Resto to keep his NABO junior welterweight title in the main supporting bout of the Dream Match card pitting Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya. Ortiz produced a relentless attack to knock out Resto twice in the opening-round.

Filipino Mepranum wins by decision over Lopez

Filipino upstart Richie Mepranum defeated American Cesar Lopez by unanimous decision in their six-round flyweight bout, one of the undercards in the Dream Match pitting Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. Mepranum from Saranggani Province improved his record to 15 wins, 2 losses and a draw.

‘Dream Match’ protagonists already at MGM Grand

Oscar “Golden Boy” De La Hoya made his entrance at the MGM Grand Arena at about (6:01 p.m.) 10:01 a.m. in Manila. Video footage shows the 35-year-old De La Hoya looking somber with less than two hours away from his duel with Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao.
