Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez retained his WBO super featherweight title with a first-round stoppage of Sergio Medina in one of the undercards of the Dream Match pitting Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya. Lopez floored Medina three times on his way to the smashing victory. Up next is the main supporting bout scheduled for 12 rounds featuring Victor Ortiz against Jeffrey Resto.

Jacobs stops Lares

In the fifth fight of the Dream Match card featuring Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Dela Hoya, American Daniel Jacobs stopped compatriot Victor Lares two minutes and 44 seconds into the second round of their scheduled eight-round middleweight match at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It was Jacob’s 12th win via knockout and 13th overall.

Garcia wins via decision over Lugo

In the fourth undercard of the Dream Match event, Danny Garcia remained unbeaten with a unanimous decision victory over Jose Alfredo Lugo in their eight-round super featherweight fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The main event featuring Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Dela Hoya is still three fights away. Coming up is the showdown between Daniel Jacobs and Victor Lares to be followed by the bout between Juan Manuel Lopez. and Sergio Medina. The main supporting bout will be Victor Ortiz against Jeffrey Resto.

Odds improve for Pacquiao

A plus 160 underdog on the eve of the fight, Filipino ring hero Manny Pacquiao is now a plus 140 underdog with Oscar De La Hoya a minus 190 favorite with just a few hours before their monumental showdown, according to internet betting sites. This means a bet on Pacquiao will earn an additional $140, while one has to be $170 on De La Hoya to win another $100.

In the third undercard of the Dream Match headlined by Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Dela Hoya at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Mexico’s Jose Angel Beranza defeated Jesus Rojas via unanimous decision in their eight-round super bantamweight showdown.

Marroquin, Broner win first 2 undercard matches

The undercard matches have started in Las Vegas. Roberto Marroquin defeated Isaac Hidalgo by knockout in the opening round of the first match. Adrien Broner defeated Scott Furney in the opening round of the second match.

Two 12-round title fights have been added to the undercard of "The Dream Match," highlighted by the welterweight match between Oscar Dela Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. NABO junior welterweight champ "Vicious" Victor Ortiz defends his title against Jeffrey Resto and WBO junior featherweight champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez defends his crown against Sergio "Rocky" Medina. The fights are set to take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
